In September, Galleria Walter Padovani will take part in BIAF \u2013 Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze\u00a0 (Stand 9) with a curated selection of works conceived as a tribute to the city.<\/h3>

Il percorso si apre con il monumentale ritratto in marmo di Cosimo III de' Medici<\/i> scolpito da Lorenzo Merlini nel 1694, straordinaria sintesi tra memoria dell'antico, ritratto moderno e celebrazione del potere.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Accanto a questo capolavoro, il gruppo della Carit\u00e0<\/i> di Lorenzo Bartolini, versione in scala ridotta del celebre gruppo conservato a Palazzo Pitti, rappresenta una raffinata testimonianza della poetica del \"bello naturale\".<\/h3>

Completano la selezione tre Paesaggi<\/i> in commesso di pietre dure, espressione di una delle eccellenze artistiche pi\u00f9 identitarie della tradizione fiorentina, dove virtuosismo tecnico e osservazione della natura si fondono in immagini di straordinaria intensit\u00e0.<\/h3>
